I have been a long time visitor of Long Island Spirits, otherwise known as Long Island Vodka (LIV) for years. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, we have not been able to get there for two years. My wife and I would usually visit in February during our yearly wine tasting weekend. We would hang out at the bar and taste different whisky varieties and cocktails. You can actually go back and read a past review of Long Island Vodka from one of our previous visits.
Pine Barrens Single Malt Whisky has been my favorite of their offerings. I have always made sure to pick up a bottle with each visit. This past week was no different. I had made my last bottle last as long as I could with the two year gap between visits. This was hard to do due to it’s delicious flavor. Pine Barrens Single Malt Whisky is a rich, smooth and spicy flavor with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon and caramel. This whisky is aged for 1 year In New American Oak Casks and distilled from malted barley. Pine Barrens has been one of my favorite whisky’s for years and I strongly recommend that any whisky lover buy themselves a bottle. Enjoy!
